Some of the best family memories come from simple evenings spent together.
This fall, gather the kids, invite some friends, and join us for Trunk or Treat at Lancaster Camp Ground. Families can enjoy decorated trunks, s’mores, hot dogs, and a hayride through the Camp Ground.

🍂 Save the date for a fall evening the whole family can enjoy!
Trunk or Treat is coming to Lancaster Camp Ground on Friday, October 30, from 6:00–8:30 p.m.
Bring the family for decorated trunks, make-your-own s’mores, hot dogs, and hayrides through the Camp Ground. We’re looking forward to opening our grounds for an evening of fall fun and community!

☀️ One last splash before summer winds down! 💦

The final day of the Lancaster Camp Ground Pool season will be Sunday, August 16.

Gather your family, invite a friend, and join us for one more day of swimming, sunshine, and summer memories. We’d love to see you there as we close out another wonderful pool season together!

Today is Heritage Sunday at Lancaster Camp Ground!

Join us as we honor the faith, people, buildings, and stories that shaped this special place—and celebrate everything that lies ahead.

Today’s schedule:

10:30 a.m. — Worship under the big tent
11:30 a.m. — $10 box lunches
Noon–3:00 p.m. — Games on the Hotel Front Lawn
1:00–3:00 p.m. — Historic buildings open
7:00 p.m. — Workman Ministries revival service

No reservations are required. Bring your family, invite a friend, and spend the day discovering the history and community of Lancaster Camp Ground.

Heritage Sunday is almost here! Here is everything happening at Lancaster Camp Ground on Sunday, August 2:

⛪ 10:30 a.m. — Morning worship under the big tent
Pastor Wright Ellinger with music by Leonard Mohl

🍽️ 11:30 a.m. — $10 box lunches
All proceeds benefit the restoration of the Cafeteria. No reservation is required.

🏀 Noon–3:00 p.m. — Games on the Hotel Front Lawn
Enjoy basketball, croquet, tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard, and more.

🏛️ 1:00–3:00 p.m. — Historic buildings open
Visit Davis Auditorium, Hotel Woodside, the Seifert Museum, and Heritage House.

🔥 7:00 p.m. — Workman Ministries revival service
The first of six nightly services held August 3–7 under the big tent.

Come for worship, stay for lunch, explore our history, and enjoy an afternoon with the community.

Make an afternoon of it at Lancaster Camp Ground!

Following Heritage Sunday worship on August 2, box lunches will be available at 11:30 a.m. for $10 each. No reservation is required, and every purchase will help support the restoration of the Lancaster Camp Ground Cafeteria.

Then, gather the family and head to the Hotel Front Lawn from noon–3:00 p.m. for:

🏀 Basketball
🏸 Croquet
🎾 Tennis
🥒 Pickleball
🔵 Shuffleboard
…and more!

(In the event of rain, lawn games will be in the Event Center! )

Our historic buildings will also be open for visitors from 1:00–3:00 p.m.

It is an easy, affordable afternoon for families to enjoy food, games, local history, and time together.

Heritage Sunday begins with worship at 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch at 11:30 a.m., lawn games from noon–3:00 p.m., and historic buildings open from 1:00–3:00 p.m.

For generations, tent meetings brought people together for worship, fellowship, and renewal. On August 2, that tradition returns to Lancaster Camp Ground.

Heritage Sunday begins at 10:30 a.m. with morning worship under a traditional revival tent provided by Workman Ministries.

Pastor Wright Ellinger will bring the message, with music performed by Leonard Mohl.

This service is more than a look into the past. It is an opportunity to gather as a community, celebrate the faith that helped shape Lancaster Camp Ground, and look forward to what God may do here next.

There is something special about remembering where we have been while looking forward to where God is leading us next.

Join us on Sunday, August 2, for Heritage Sunday at Lancaster Camp Ground—a day of worship, history, food, family activities, and community.

The day begins with worship at 10:30 a.m. under a traditional revival tent provided by Workman Ministries. Pastor Wright Ellinger will bring the morning message, with special music performed by Leonard Mohl.

Following worship:

🍽️ Box lunches will be available at 11:30 a.m. for $10 each, with all proceeds benefiting the restoration of the Cafeteria.

🏀 Games and activities will be available on the Hotel Front Lawn from noon–3:00 p.m.
