🦁 Lamoni Lions Club – Call to Action for Iowa KidSight 👀💙

The Lamoni Lions Club has proudly returned to supporting the Iowa KidSight program, one of Lions’ signature initiatives alongside Leader Dogs. KidSight helps identify vision issues early so kids can succeed in school and life.

🚨 Here’s the urgent need:
Our current KidSight camera is outdated and must be replaced. Thanks to a limited-time match from the Lions Club International Foundation, a camera that normally costs $8,800 is available for just $4,400 — but only if funds are committed by the end of this week.

⏳ Iowa Lions were notified with very short notice, and this matching opportunity expires at the end of January 2026, making this a now-or-never moment.

🤝 Shared community effort:
Our camera is shared with Leon and Mt. Ayr, and the Leon Lions have already committed $2,000.
The Lamoni Lions Club plans to contribute $1,000, and we are asking for help from individual members and community supporters to help close the gap.

💡 How you can help:
• Any contribution amount makes a difference
• Donations are tax-deductible
• Checks should be made payable to Iowa KidSight (501(c)(3))
• Please let us know by Wednesday, January 14th, if you’re able to contribute

Together, we can help ensure children in our area receive vital vision screenings for years to come. ❤️👓
