Please Slow Down — For the Kids, For the Animals
This week, we came across a heartbreaking scene: a dog left behind with multiple broken bones after being hit. The trauma of this moment will stay with us — for the owner, for myself, and for Janelle.
These moments aren’t just painful — they’re preventable.
We’re asking our community to please slow down. Children play near roads. Pets wander too close. One moment of inattention can cause a lifetime of grief. Sometimes we do know it is intentional and that is also not okay.
Every life matters — no matter how big or small.
Let’s keep our compassion alive and drive with care.
