Celebrating an incredible season for the Lakewood High School Girls Soccer team in 1993! In just the fourth season of LHS Girls Soccer, the Rangers had a final record of 12 wins, 4 losses, and 3 draws, scoring 40 goals across 19 games. They won two tournament games along the way. Captain Mandy Bushek ('94) was our top scorer with 16 goals. Captain Sasha Malecki ('94) finished with 11 assists and 7 goals. Other key contributors included Nikki Spicer ('95) and Melanie Sowik ('95). Goalkeeper Jamie Randolph ('94) earned First Team All-Greater Cleveland honors with 7 shutouts. Here's to more victories ahead, Go Rangers! 🎉⚽

Celebrating the first season of LHS Girls Soccer back in 1990! With 5 wins, 11 losses, and 1 tie, it was a memorable start. Key victories included triumphs over Shaker Hts, St. Joseph, Admiral King, and Rocky River. Shoutout to top scorers Hayden, Bushek, Mesler, Malecki, and Beebe for their incredible contributions. Calling all Alumni, Friends, and Family of Lakewood High School Girls soccer:

We are working on creating a history of our girls soccer program that can be shared and enjoyed by everyone. By scouring Yearbooks, PD archives, Sun Post archives, and Lakewood Observer archives, and with the assistance of some alumni, we have statistics including results from 1990 to present. But there are still some gaps in the information and unknowns, especially in the 2010-2018 years.

If anyone has information to share, please message me. Goals, assists, saves, wins/losses/ties, identity of captains, post-season awards, etc are all wanted.

We already have a list of almost 400 alumni who played soccer at LHS. This list is 99% completed but we have very little contact info. Also, trying to create an alumni database for better communication and networking.
