Four weeks.

That’s how long Beetle and Cricket have been waiting at Ziggy's Cat Lounge for someone to look past their initial shyness and see the incredibly sweet girls underneath.

When these sisters first arrived, they were SO shy. For the entire first week, they barely allowed the briefest little pets. They weren’t mean. They weren’t unhappy. They were simply overwhelmed by a new place, new people, and all the changes that come with rescue life.

But then something wonderful happened.

They started to trust. ❤️

And over the past four weeks, Beetle and Cricket have slowly, quietly, beautifully blossomed into the girls we knew were hiding underneath all that shyness.

🪲 Beetle is starting to seek out pets and affection, especially when she’s feeling relaxed. Once she’s in the mood, she LOVES to play, and watching her personality come out has been so rewarding. She has gone from barely accepting a touch to enjoying the attention she once wasn’t sure about.

🦗 Cricket is our little explorer. She loves checking everything out, especially when things are quiet, and she’s becoming more comfortable letting people pet her and play with her. Give her some time and a little patience, and you’ll see that sweet, playful girl emerge.

They aren’t bonded and they don’t have to be adopted together. Each girl could absolutely thrive in her own loving home with another friendly, playful cat.

BUT… we’d really love to see them go home together.

They’ve spent their whole lives together, they love to wrestle and play, and they always find their way back to each other when it’s time to settle down for a nap.

Walter – Chief Executive Officer of Head Bonks

Walter has one very important job in life: making sure you never, ever stop petting him.

This affectionate little charmer believes that hands exist for one purpose—giving him pets. The moment you pause, he'll politely (or enthusiastically) bump your hand with an adorable little head bonk as if to say, "Excuse me... I think you forgot something." His determination is absolutely impossible to resist.

Walter is equal parts cuddle bug and wrestling champion. He's always ready to zoom after a wand toy, bat tiny balls across the room, or tackle his siblings in an epic kitten wrestling match before settling down beside you for a well-earned snuggle session. His purr starts almost the moment you touch him and rarely stops.

He's done wonderfully with friendly adult cats and respectful dogs after slow introductions, and while he's happy to make new friends, Walter truly needs a feline buddy in his forever home. He would love nothing more than to be adopted with one of his siblings, but another playful kitty would also be a wonderful companion.

Skylar – The Curious Little Explorer

Every litter has that kitten who confidently sets off to investigate first... that's Skylar.

Independent without being aloof, Skylar has mastered the art of entertaining herself while still making plenty of time for the people and cats she loves. You'll often find her happily exploring, chasing toys, or inventing her own games before casually hopping onto the couch to curl up beside you for some quiet company.

Skylar is playful, curious, and wonderfully easygoing. Fishing pole toys, stuffed mice, tiny balls, scratching boards—she's ready for every adventure. And like any self-respecting kitten, she somehow always knows exactly when a can of wet food is being opened.

She has done wonderfully with friendly adult cats and respectful dogs after slow introductions, but another playful feline companion isn't optional for this girl—it's essential. Marie – Giant Personality, Endless Kisses 🐾💕

Marie is the kind of kitten who has decided that life is meant to be lived at full speed—and she’s here to make sure everyone around her keeps up!

One minute she’s racing through the house with the zoomies, chasing her siblings in an epic game of tag. The next, she’s climbing into your lap, pressing her nose against yours, and showering you with sweet little kisses while her nonstop purr fills the room.

Marie’s personality is as big as her heart. She’s bold, playful, endlessly affectionate, and completely convinced that every person she meets deserves a kiss. She has the perfect combination of sass and sweetness, with just enough mischief to keep things interesting.

🖤 Meet Kenny — One White Whisker & A Whole Lotta Love! 🐾

Kenny is the definition of a sweet, calm, easygoing boy who just wants to be near his people. 🥰 He’s friendly, affectionate, and wonderfully laid-back, making him the kind of kitty who can fit right into just about any home.

He absolutely loves to snuggle and enjoys being held, but he’s also perfectly happy entertaining himself by batting his favorite balls around. And when Kenny wants some attention? He has the cutest way of asking for it — he’ll come right up and bump your feet and legs like his own personal little “hello!” 🥹🖤

Kenny has experience with other cats and is a very social guy who truly enjoys feline companionship. He will need a kitty friend in his forever home and would do best with another friendly, playful cat or kitten.

He has also been around dogs. He’s still a little cautious when meeting them, but he does just fine and should continue to gain confidence with slow, positive introductions. He’s been around older children and we think his gentle personality would make him a wonderful companion for respectful kids of all ages.

And then there’s Kenny’s tiny signature feature… He’s completely black except for ONE little white whisker! 😍 It’s like he decided he needed just one tiny splash of individuality.

Meet Riesling 🐾💛

Riesling is a sweet, gentle boy with an absolutely adorable little kitten frown that is made even more charming by his black lips and tiny black toe beans. He always looks just a little concerned about something... and honestly, we're pretty sure his biggest concern is whether you're about to get horizontal so he can claim his rightful spot. 😂

Riesling is a calm and easygoing guy who doesn't need to be in the middle of everything. When you're up and about, he may quietly make himself scarce, happily doing his own thing. But the moment you lie down? Game over.

Suddenly, Riesling appears and makes his way straight to your chest, where he settles in for a cozy snooze like he has an important appointment with you. 🥹💕

He's the kind of kitten who doesn't demand constant attention, he simply waits for the perfect opportunity to quietly sneak in and become your personal chest warmer.
