We're looking forward to seeing neighbors, families, and friends at Madison Park for an afternoon of free food, activities, entertainment, and community connection.

The Madison Park Little Free Locker Room has RETURNED!

This community resource is intended to offer any park visitor the opportunity to borrow or contribute sporting goods equipment while enjoying recreation within Madison Park. Our Locker Room features a selection of sporting goods available for public use on a first-come, first-served basis. An air pump for balls and bikes is also available onsite.

This sporting goods library is located in the center of our park along the eastern fence of the *newly updated* futsal courts near the historic skate house. The Locker Room will remain open annually through November.

REMINDER: Be kind and return your borrowed items 🌈

As we enter the warmer months, please remember that dogs in public places (parks and sidewalks) must be kept on a leash. Leashes must be non-retractable and no longer than 6 ft in length.

Leashing your dogs—even if they are trained and friendly—helps to protect neighbors, children, and other pets, and prevents unpredictable incidents from occurring.

Make your voice heard on the future of Becks Pool!

The Planning Department is seeking public input as it begins the planning process for the renovation of Becks Pool at Madison Park.

This first stage of community engagement will last approximately three to four weeks and will be followed by other opportunities for input and public comment.

Progress continues at Madison Park's futsal courts! The asphalt has been laid and fence installed. After the asphalt cures for about three weeks, the court surface, striping, and sealing can be completed (weather-permitting).

The target date for the reopening is in mid-June.

In preparation for City of Lakewood, Ohio - Municipal Government’s very exciting futsal court renovation project, our Little Free Locker Room has been temporarily removed from its usual spot on the fence line. We look forward to opening the Locker Room for season #5 once this construction project is complete.

Thank you to the volunteers who helped us remove the Locker Room, and thank you to the City of Lakewood for its ongoing investment in our beloved park. 🙌
