Creighton Middle School Community: Let’s Help Fill the Bags! 🎒

Our CMS family knows that students can’t focus on learning if they are worried about where their next meal is coming from. As we head toward Spring Break, it’s time to come together for Grub Club!
This program is a massive partnership between JCEA, JESPA, JCEA-R, Engage Jeffco, Jeffco PTA, and the Action Center. Together, we provide food and hygiene "grub bags" to Jeffco students experiencing homelessness or emancipation.
How our community can help today:

🛒 DONATE: Instant meals (canned foods, MREs, etc.) .
Drop-off: At CMS in the main office now through March 13th! Or students can drop items in Mr. Sims classroom (Room 1203)

💪 VOLUNTEER (Sort & Pack): We need hands to help pack bags at the JCEA office! This is a great family service project, and high schoolers needing service hours are welcome to join!

Our Chili Cook-Off & Silent Auction is this Friday at 6:00. Have you gotten tickets yet? Tickets are $10 per person online through Thursday and $12 in person on Friday. But you don’t have to wait until Friday to start the fun! Silent Auction online bidding is open already, and new items are added daily. We are still looking for people to bring chili and volunteer. Chili contestants and volunteers get one free admission ticket!

Join a community town hall on Thursday, November 6 at 6 p.m. at the 40West Arts Hub Building to share your experiences with RTD buses and trains, meet your RTD representative, and be part of a faster, more frequent, and more reliable service across the region.
