I personally met Byron Donalds, and he said he did not support our right to democratically install moratoriums on data centers and he said he was interested in enabling the construction of five hyperscale data centers in Florida.

I approached him to express that my question is not about partisan issues, but about Polk County issues. As a Floridian who lives in an environmentally sensitive county and believes in a degree of freedom FROM big government, my concern is less about whether we can trust the government to follow environmental protections (obviously we can't, because look at what his party is doing to Big Bend), but more about whether Tallahassee will respect Polk when we want to stand up and protect our communities from another Mosaic-level disaster.

It was a no, Donald's does not respect us. Review our interaction for yourself.

If you're wondering what our previous post was about, it's related to this video where we captured a school board member on-camera at the JD Vance rally in what appears to be a VIP section. We did not know that we were going to blow her cover, but that begs the question, why go to an event like this if you are ashamed to be seen there? I would imagine that many of her supporters were also there in attendance.

I shot a lot of content that day, and this was a few seconds out of an hour of footage, and it's a happy accident that what I considered a throwaway clip for a TikTok trending sound went viral. She was sitting right in front of a man who was interrupting, and then she herself was interrupting as well. Neither of them were kicked out of the event because they were interrupting in a way that showed they enthusiastically supported MAGA.

There was another candidate who also interrupted, and we made content about him, Ben Braverman. He was kicked out of the event and assaulted by security. You can see the video on our Instagram.

I was struck by the way two down ballot candidates can be equally disruptive, but face very different treatment. One was literally assaulted, while the other was allowed to continue sitting in the front row. But most of all, this really was an authentic reaction in the moment, and I hope it got people engaged to really analyze the ideas on the ballot, and most importantly, go vote!

1st: Deva Simmons. This NPA candidate is worth your time to check out and get to know.

If you are not convinced by Deva, then
2nd: Curtis Gibson.

Never Scott Franklin. It is time for a change, and for a candidate that will go to D.C. and advocate on behalf of Florida. Instead of a candidate that comes back home to Florida and advocates on behalf of D.C. and corporate interests.

U.S. Rep. Scott Franklin's newly redrawn district is now completely within Polk County. But he faces two challengers in his bid for a fourth term. See link below ⬇️
