I know I haven't posted here for a while. Just dealing with some personal things but I'm back up and need a little help from our followers!
This is Cardi. (Yes it had to go with the flow of Doja lol we took her in on Friday evening. We need some donations to go towards her medical costs. Not going to be a cheap one. We've already got things in place for her sinus infection but she really needs a surgery that's is risky and will be done by a specialist. She gets chronic sinus and respiratory infections so she's a big medical bill but I couldn't turn her down. She is in rough shape but is so full of love still. As always all donations are text deductible. I'm not doing a GoFundMe this time because they just take too much money from it so we are just doing cash app venmo and zelle.

I've not been good about updated in 2024. It was one heck of a year. Of course new animals at the sanctuary and the old ones thriving. Hurricane did a number on us (a couple photos below we took before we could actually enter our house). We really need to make a fundraiser. FEMA helped with our home some but the animals enclosures and our fencing were a loss. I spent a lot of time upset over it. Went into quite a depression but I know this year things will be better and we can mend what's broken. What's important is everyone was safe and taken to higher ground. This sweet baby was dumped by a dumpster behind my friend's daughter's job. They managed to catch him and brought him to the sanctuary. He is sweet and happy as can be in his big new enclosure he gets to run around and do his flips and jumps in 💗

I grow a lot of our own food and food for the animals but what's great is our neighbors on the property next to us share their greens and veggies with the animals to! It takes a village to run a rescue! It gets very expensive so this keeps cost down and we know all the rescued animals are getting the best and freshest pesticide free food!

Some new intakes to the sanctuary. This is why we need to find another aviary. We don't want to have to turn down birds in need of permanent homes. Especially special needs birds! If you can donate please do. If not please share. These guys are now situated in their permanent cages....but we are basically at capacity.

We are in desperate need to raise the funds for a new aviary to house the rescued parrots. Right now we are at capacity after taking in 4 more yesterday. We would hate to have to turn away any parrot in need of a loving permanent place at our sanctuary so we made this GoFundMe to raise the $ needed to make sure we can keep helping the animals. Donations have been pretty much non existent since COVID sadly. If you can donate we greatly appreciate it and please share as well.
