Just Cares Poetry, Open Mic & Spoken Word Welcome to the world of Just Cares, Inc. Just Cares, Inc., a 501(c) 3 non-profit community organization, was founded in October 2012. Just Cares Inc.

was born from a desire to provide educational, fine arts and cultural programs to our community. Our vision is to bridge the gap between the cultural arts and our community by providing programs individually designed to enhance the experiences of all involved. We are reaching individuals who would not have the opportunity to experience education, fine arts and culture, due to either personal, fina

ncial or physical circumstances. By doing this, Just Cares is creating better individuals who will in-turn change the quality of life for future generations. This year, Just Cares, Inc. and Platform Partners came together to bring poetry to Lakeland. Since our partnership, we have grown a group of poets, published authors, friends and family that truly enjoy poetry in all its forms. We will continue to bring you events and keep growing this beautiful art form in our beautiful City of Lakeland.
