This morning, Natural Guard helped our bison participate in the shortest bison migration ever. They crossed Buffalo Road from the East Pasture to the Central/South Pastures. The migration was a total of 66 linear feet! You might catch a glimpse of them by parking at the Bison Pull-Out & walking west across the street.

Our Natural Guard project on Thursday was building a pipe fence at the Boardwalk parking lot and spreading native seed and hay to protect the soil. Look for wildflowers in the Spring as this area transitions to nature's palette of color. (Natural Guard volunteers help out every Thursday and Saturday from 9am - noon.)
