Calling all kids ages 8–12! Spend a week with us this summer making memories with our barnyard friends. From hands-on animal time to arts & crafts, games, and digging in the garden — it’s a week of fun, creativity, and connection in the great outdoors. 🌿

Our horses remind us of something every single day: every person who walks through our gates deserves to feel safe, seen, and accepted exactly as they are. 🐴

📸 Looking dapper, boys!
Benny and Bodie are sporting their handsome new collars — and they're not just for looks! 🐐✨
These two are starting lead training so they can learn their best manners for walks around the farm. Like all good things, it starts with small steps (and maybe a few stubborn moments 😄).
Learning to walk nicely on a lead helps our goats stay safe, builds trust with their handlers, and makes them even better partners for the meaningful work we do here at Courageous Connections.
We'll keep you posted on their progress. Cheer them on! 💚

🌱 Garden Update from the Farm! 🌱
Spring is in full swing at Courageous Connections, and our gardens are buzzing with new growth!

🥒 We got creative and upcycled leftover fencing from the property into a brand-new trellis for our cucumbers — proof that a little resourcefulness goes a long way on the farm!

🌿 Over in our raised ADA-friendly garden beds, onions and snow peas are sprouting up beautifully. We love that these beds make gardening accessible for everyone in our community.

🌽 Our corn patch is officially planted, and we're excited to welcome a brand-new asparagus row! Fresh produce for our local food bank partners is on the way.

🫐🍓 Blueberry and strawberry blossoms are putting on a show — we can almost taste the summer harvest!

🌳 Fresh grass has been planted in the orchard

🌺 And if you drive by, you can't miss it — our rhododendrons are in full, gorgeous bloom!

Every seed planted and every row tended helps us grow fresh food for families in need through our food bank donations. Want to be part of it? We'd love to have you out on the farm! 🌻
