We've had a blast exploring Auburndale these past few weeks! 🤩

Our first outing was for the inaugural Leadership Polk Rediscovered, where attendees had a chance to visit SunTrax, the Florida Division of Emergency Management's new Central Operations and Coordination Office, and experience how Auburndale has grown and changed since they originally completed the Leadership Polk program.

On Wednesday, Alumni members gathered again at the Lake Ariana Civic Center for a casual social with members of Class XIX!

Thank you to Julie Womble (Class XIV), with the City of Auburndale, for helping coordinate these experiences! Stay tuned for what's next for the Leadership Polk Alumni Association!

📣 Leadership Polk Rediscovered is in TWO WEEKS!

Leadership Polk Rediscovered is designed to reconnect alumni with the places and topics that have grown, changed, or emerged since your time in the program.

🤩 We're kicking things off on January 30th by visiting Auburndale, where we'll get a behind-the-scenes look at some of the exciting things that have popped up over the past few years! Highlights include a visit to SunTrax, Florida's premier facility for advancing transportation technology, and a tour of the new Florida Division of Emergency Management Warehouse, a critical investment in the state's ability to respond to and recover from disasters.

🎟 Registration is $15 for active Leadership Polk Alumni Association members and $25 for non-active alumni. All registrations include lunch!
