💙❤️ Calling All CHD Warrior & Angel Families

With the help of Rachel Molin, a fellow CHD mom whom I had the privilege of getting to know and support through Noah’s Smile, we are excited to announce a special new T-Shirt!

We will be creating CHD Warrior and CHD Angel shirts to honor the incredible heart warriors and precious heart angels in our community.

A portion of the proceeds from every shirt sold will be donated to the The Children's Heart Foundation, while the remaining funds will help Noah’s Smile continue supporting CHD families and future heart warriors.

If you would like your child’s name included on the shirt, simply leave:

Once the design is complete, the only thing we ask is that you help us spread the word by sharing the shirt with your family and friends, so everyone can rock the shirt with pride!

As the summer months begin to approach, I can’t help but think back to three years ago.

When you lose a child, the world stops momentarily. Everything freezes.

I remember the day Noah passed so vividly. I remember every single detail. The sounds of the hospital, the expressions on the doctors’ faces, the sound of my own scream echoing through that small room, and the voices of my loved ones on the other end of the phone, 3,000 miles away.

I remember begging the doctors to save Noah’s life. Pleading with them, only for them to look at me with such sadness. I will never forget the surgeon’s face. The look of defeat. It was shocking, even to the doctors who worked on Noah.

That day will never make sense.

I am not the same person I was before July 17, 2023. Noah made me stronger and braver, but the grief and sadness never go away. Some days they feel lighter, and some days it feels like the wind has been knocked out of me all over again.

This time of year is especially hard because three years ago we were on our way to California for what was supposed to be life saving surgery. Instead, it became life ending, and I will never understand why.

As July gets closer, I find myself reliving so many memories. Missing him. Loving him. Carrying him with me through every day.

Three years later, I still wish I could hold my baby one more time.
