Lake George Vacation Rental offers a summer vacation home available for weekly rental, perfect for families looking to enjoy time by the lake. This 3-bedroom home sleeps up to 7 guests and is located just 100 feet from a shared private beach for swimming.

Guests can enjoy lake views from the enclosed porch and dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor deck with grill and furniture, washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, and access to a canoe and kayaks for lake adventures.

🌲 Last chance to support outdoor education with the Lake George Land Conservancy!

Lake George resident and local educator Seth Harris has generously offered a $5,000 matching challenge to support LGLC’s outdoor education programs that help kids and adults connect with nature.

Funds will support projects including interpretive trail signage at the Wiawaka uplands property and an outdoor education backpack loaner program in collaboration with libraries throughout the watershed. These backpacks will be filled with tools to help families explore, learn, and engage with the outdoors.

Every dollar donated will be matched — doubling your impact for the next generation of land stewards around Lake George.

Step into history at Ulysses S. Grant Cottage State Historic Site & National Historic Landmark.

Join historical interpreter Nathan M. Richardson for a powerful first-person portrayal of abolitionist Frederick Douglass as he reflects on his memories of President Ulysses S. Grant.

This program will explore the relationship between Douglass and Grant, their work during Reconstruction, the ratification of the 15th Amendment, and Grant’s proposed annexation of Santo Domingo. Guests will also hear Douglass’ 1871 Decoration Day speech, “Honoring the Unknown Loyal Dead.”

Nathan Richardson is a U.S. Army veteran, author, poet, Frederick Douglass historian, and Chautauqua Scholar with more than 500 living history performances across the country.
