Took a bag, 20 minutes, and picked up trash from a storm drain that could have made its way to our lake. Small things make an impact. I understand time is precious commodity these days. This holiday season, let's spread cheer and keep our planet clean. Santa knows if you are sleeping, knows if you are awake… bad or good… and he’d be proud of us for keeping our trash in check. Together, we can make a difference and create a world without litter. 🚮

1 volunteer + 1 hour = 1 bag of trash picked up. 1 less bag of trash going down the drains and into our lake! If we each do our part, we will clean up enough trash to make our city clean and better for everyone.

Most of the trash was from fast food wrappers. Can you guess which restaurant below had the most trash that was picked up today?

1. Star Bucks
2. McDonald’s
3. Taco Bell

I have submitted a request to host a cleanup of this area along the San Jacinto river with the city of LE. While it’s not dumping water into our lake, it’s home to wildlife 🦋🐾🐸🐍🦅

Dumping trash in their home is wrong, and we should help!
