Lake County Search and Rescue, Lake County, MT Lake County Search and Rescue is a non-profit organization. Lake County Search and Rescue Association Inc.

is an all-volunteer group of individuals under the supervision of the Lake County Sheriff's Department. They are
comprised of close to 50 Volunteer members from around the Lake County from the ages of 19 and up, all with the same idea and purpose in mind, To assist our Neighbors and Visitors to the best of our ability. Our members are from all different occupations and walks of life and therefore

bring great diversity and talents to our organization. We are funded partially through a Mill Levy, but also of generous donations from Local Citizens, Visiting Guests, and generous Local Businesses. With changing times, the never ending need for more training, and the continued need of our services, we are also always thankful to gracious donations. And as we are a Certified Non-Profit Organization, a 501(c)3, your donations are tax deductible. We, as members, have to desire to increase our knowledge, training, and equipment in order to serve our Community in the highest way possible. Our members put in thousands of hours a year in training, both in-house and outside area, thousands of hours in calls for service, as well as hundreds of hours of community service not related to Search and Rescue. We meet every Thursday evening to keep up on the business aspects of Search and Rescue, Multiple trainings, and Calls to Service discussions. Non-members are welcome to attend, we are always recruiting members!
