On June 2nd, community agencies came together to discuss emergency preparedness during the Hurricane season. Of course I could not pass up an opportunity to speak about importance of mental health, timely medication refills, 988 crisis line, and coping strategies to help with anxiety and PTSD. Our message is simple, stay alert and be prepared SWLA! 💚

Our 4th Annual Men's Health Symposium is set for Saturday, June 6 in Lake Charles!

Summer feeding program for children in Calcasieu Parish.

The Summer Food Service Program provides free meals for all children up to age 18 at participating locations across Calcasieu Parish.

The program runs June 1 through July 24.

“I’m Literally Just a Girl” is a fun, supportive workshop for tween girls focused on confidence, friendships, emotions, self-esteem, and coping with the chaos of growing up in today’s world. 💕

Designed to help girls feel understood, empowered, and less alone.
