Season 4 Episode 4 of the BWNICE Voice podcast is now LIVE!

What if healthy eating didn't have to feel so hard?

Between busy schedules, endless nutrition advice on social media, and the pressure to "do it all," it's no wonder so many women feel overwhelmed.

In this episode of the BW Nice Podcast, hosts Cindy Caldwell and Jennifer Leary welcome Joni Garcia, registered dietitian and founder of The Rooted Kitchen, for a refreshing conversation about making healthy eating realistic, enjoyable, and sustainable.

Together they explore:
🥗 Why healthy eating doesn't have to be complicated
💧 The power of small habits over dramatic changes
🛒 Simple meal planning strategies that actually work
🍽️ Why slowing down during meals matters
💚 How to build balanced meals without counting every calorie
🌎 Honoring cultural traditions while supporting your health

If you've ever felt like you have to be "perfect" to eat healthy, this episode is your reminder that lasting wellness starts with simple, consistent choices—not perfection.

Six years ago today, minutes after 8 am, our world changed forever.

Six years since Morgan’s life was stolen by someone who claimed to love her. There isn’t a day that passes that we don’t wonder who she would have become, what dreams she would have fulfilled, or what moments we would have shared.

This week, our family welcomed a beautiful new baby into the world—who would have been Morgan’s precious goddaughter. Our hearts are overflowing with joy, yet that joy is forever intertwined with the sadness of knowing Morgan isn’t here to hold her, love her, and watch her grow.

That is the reality of relationship violence. It doesn’t just take one life—it changes generations.

This bittersweet day reminds us why Morgan’s Light exists.

We believe these tragedies can be prevented. Through education, honest conversations, practical resources, and the courage to remove the barriers of shame, fear, and silence, we can empower young people to recognize unhealthy relationships before they become dangerous.

Morgan’s legacy is no longer defined by how her story ended. It is defined by every student we educate, every life we touch, every conversation we start, and every person who finds the strength to ask for help.

Today, we remember Morgan with love. We grieve what was lost. We celebrate the new life that reminds us hope continues. And we recommit ourselves to making sure fewer families ever have to experience this kind of heartbreak.

For Morgan.
For Blakelee.
For every young person who deserves a future.

💜 Keep the conversation going. Education saves lives.

NEW Episode Alert!

Season 4 Episode 3 of the BWNICE Voice podcast is now LIVE!

The best mentors don't tell you what to do. They help you become the person who knows what to do.

In this episode of the BW Nice Podcast, hosts Cindy Caldwell and Jennifer Leary sit down with Keren Gonen, Broker Manager at Realty Executives, entrepreneur, and passionate mentor, to explore the true meaning of mentorship.

This conversation goes far beyond business advice.

Keren shares why kindness is one of the most underrated leadership skills, how mistakes become the greatest teachers, and why the goal of every mentor should be to build confidence—not dependence.

You'll also hear thoughtful conversations about:
✨ What makes a great mentor
✨ Why reputation matters more than recognition
✨ Supporting others while allowing them to grow on their own
✨ The power of listening before offering advice
✨ Parenting, leadership, and mentoring through the same lens
✨ How embracing different perspectives creates stronger businesses and communities
Whether you're looking for a mentor, becoming one, or simply trying to grow as a leader, this episode is filled with wisdom you can apply immediately.

NEW Episode Alert!

Season 4 Episode 2 of the BWNICE Voice podcast is now LIVE!

How often do you lose yourself while trying to be everything for everyone else?

As women, we're often taught to keep going.

Be the strong one.
The caregiver.
The problem solver.

But what happens when constantly pouring into everyone else leaves nothing for yourself?

In this powerful Season 4 episode of the BW Nice Podcast, Cindy Caldwell and Jennifer Leary sit down with Dr. Tony Warner to explore what it really means to reset—not just recover.

Together they discuss:
✨ Why your job, titles, or "hats" don't define who you are
✨ The hidden roots of burnout and emotional exhaustion
✨ Breaking free from generational patterns
✨ Why healing isn't about finding a quick fix
✨ How small, intentional moments create lasting change
✨ A beautiful new perspective on self-care as "emotional philanthropy"
If you've ever felt stuck, overwhelmed, or like you've lost touch with yourself, this conversation is one you'll want to hear.

🎧 Listen now on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or Amazon Music.

What was your biggest takeaway?

Our June Member of the Month is Jennifer Leary!

Jennifer Leary is a seasoned educator and wellness practitioner with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals with special needs. She is also the proud parent of a child with autism and ADHD, which gives her a deeply personal understanding of the joys and challenges families face. Her work blends professional expertise with lived experience, creating a compassionate and holistic approach that honors the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
As a certified Yoga, Meditation, and Breathwork Instructor, as well as a Certified Special Needs Life Coach, Jennifer offers flexible services intentionally designed to meet each client where they are. Every offering is tailored to individual needs, providing practical tools for growth, healing, and empowerment.

At the heart of Jennifer’s practice is a core belief: every individual has inherent value and a unique contribution to offer the world. She holds that we are all capable of growth, connection, and purpose—especially when supported in ways that respect and celebrate our differences.

Her work is built on the understanding that people with special needs deserve not only inclusion, but meaningful engagement in their communities, schools, workplaces, and families. With the right support, they can thrive emotionally, intellectually, and socially.
Jennifer’s philosophy centers on compassion, empowerment, and practical guidance. She walks alongside clients on their journeys, helping them access tools that foster independence, joy, and self-worth. Whether through learning, movement, advocacy, or coaching, her ultimate goal is to help each person live a full, happy, and purpose-driven life.

Empowering Joy’s ideal clients are neurodiverse children and adults and their families seeking guidance in building life skills, improving emotional resilience, navigating educational systems, and achieving personal goals. I also provide support for parents and caregivers, offering coaching and practical strategies that foster confidence, communication, and independence.
