Manjari Dasi is a speaker, kirtan singer, and artist devoted to offering transformative experiences of deep connection through transcendental sound vibration. A dedicated brahmacharini and disciple of Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja, she divides her time between India and North America, sharing the profound teachings, art, and culture of bhakti-yoga and Sanatana Dharma. Bhaktivedanta
Swami Prabhupāda, Manjari was deeply influenced by the vibrant atmosphere of kirtan and devotional service she experienced growing up in temple communities across Laguna Beach, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and other locations. Reading books like The Nectar of Devotion as a young child sparked an intense quest within her to cultivate a personal connection with the worship of Sri Radha and thereby gain a deeper understanding of Krsna bhakti. Her search for the sweetness of service to the Supreme Goddess, Sri Radha, led her to India in 1994, where she met her spiritual master, Śrīla Bhaktivedānta Nārāyaṇa Gosvāmī Mahārāja, receiving initiation from him in the sacred village of Vrindavan. Transformed by his pure teachings, impeccable character, and the experience of kirtan in his divine association, Manjari answered a calling in 2001 to dedicate her life to service in India. There, she intensified her bhakti-yoga practice (sadhana) and studied philosophy, devotional painting, bhajan, and kirtan under the direct guidance of her guru and mentors. From 2001 to 2009, Manjari served as an apprentice to Srimati Syamarani dasi (bhaktiart.net), assisting with painting and publishing seva for Gaudiya Vedanta Publications. She continues to create artwork for her guru’s books and, with his blessings, established the Rupa-Sanatana Gaudiya Foundation (https://rupasanatana.org/) to promote spiritual education and publishing, nourish spiritual communities, and support women in bhakti.
