🌱 A NEW HOME. A NEW CHAPTER. THE SAME MISSION. 🌱
For nearly 7 years, Miracle Tree operated out of a church.
That building became a huge part of our story. It was where donations were collected, Christmas gifts were sorted, volunteers worked countless hours, and where Miracle Tree grew from an idea into an organization serving hundreds of children and families in our community.
Leaving was not easy.
And we want to share something with our community—not to create division, not to criticize anyone, and certainly not to reopen old wounds—but because we believe our supporters deserve to understand this next chapter of Miracle Tree.
Over time, circumstances within the environment where Miracle Tree operated changed. There were issues involving security, access, and organizational decisions that no longer aligned with the standards and direction we felt were necessary to protect Miracle Tree and the people we serve.
After careful consideration, we made the difficult decision to establish an independent home for Miracle Tree.
It was not a decision made out of anger.
It was not a decision made against the church.
And it was never a decision made against the people who had supported us.
It was a decision made because we believed Miracle Tree needed an environment where we could protect the integrity of the organization, safeguard the donations entrusted to us, establish our own standards, and make decisions based on our mission.
And now, we are officially settled into our new home. 🏡🌱
We are incredibly excited about what this means for Miracle Tree and the future of the families we serve.
But there is something we have experienced since making this transition that we feel is important to share.
We have received notices from individuals who have indicated that their support of Miracle Tree will change—or end—because Miracle Tree is no longer operating from the church.
We absolutely respect that every person has the right to decide where they give their time, money, and resources.
But we would be dishonest if we didn't say that this has been difficult for us.
Because when we look at Miracle Tree, we don't see a building.
We see children.
We see the child who needs a Christmas gift.
We see the family whose refrigerator is empty.
We see the parent facing an unexpected emergency and wondering how they are going to provide the basic necessities their children need.
We see volunteers giving their time because they believe every child deserves to feel remembered.
The children haven't changed.
The families haven't changed.
The need hasn't changed.
Our mission hasn't changed.
Only our address did.
And that is why we want to make something very clear:
Miracle Tree did not leave the church because we stopped caring about our community.
We left because we cared enough about the future of Miracle Tree to create a stable, independent environment where we can continue serving that community.
We are incredibly grateful for the seven years we had there and for every person who supported Miracle Tree during that time. We will never erase that part of our story.
But we also believe that organizations grow, circumstances change, and sometimes moving forward requires making difficult decisions.
So today, rather than focusing on what we've left behind, we are choosing to focus on what is ahead. ❤️

🌱 Growth
🌱 Security
🌱 New opportunities
🌱 And a future focused entirely on the families we serve

Because at the end of the day, Miracle Tree isn't about where we operate.
It's about who we serve.
And we refuse to let a change in address change what we believe every child deserves.
