That is great! Not too far from us.

🎉❤️💛 300 KIDS ENROLLED! 💛❤️🎉

We have something BIG to celebrate at LifeWise Academy – Smith-Green!

We have officially reached 300 STUDENTS ENROLLED! 🙌

That's 300 opportunities to share God's Word, build relationships, and help students grow in their faith! 📖❤️

A HUGE thank you to our parents, teachers, volunteers, churches, and community for making this possible!

We're not just celebrating a number. We're celebrating 300 lives being impacted by God's Word!

And we're just getting started! ❤️

It was a good week.
1) We helped staff the Yoder's Pork burger stand. Reason 4 Hope, Child Evangelism, and LifeWise Lakeland all benefit from the proceeds.

2) We were in the Saturday parade.

3) We had LifeWise students come to the Pork Burger stand to draw on our chalk board table, get a free hot dog, and help out.

4) The bus was busy Tuesday and Wednesday with classes, Thursday and Friday with field trips, and Saturday in the parade.

So thanks for buying a pork burger, hot dog, or drink. Thanks for waving and supporting us in the parade.

Jesus has a lot of folks, with a lot of gifts, that He has made willing to share their time and talent. Thanks for letting Jesus use you.

The LifeWise bus was busy today. At 6:30 a.m. we picked up Sunny Ridge School and toured a RV plant, visited multiple schools, and finished up with ice cream at Topeka Pizza. Tomorrow Creekside School will use the bus in a similar fashion.

When the bus isn't being used by LifeWise it is available for other groups to use. Groups have to
provide their own insurance and use one of our LifeWise drivers. Groups who've used the bus in the past include: Haven of Hope, Indian Trail School, Townline School, Lima Presbyterian Church, Sunny Ridge School, Mission to the Son... We've been as far as Hillsdale and Pokagon, MI, Midway and Indianapolis airports, and all places in between. These trips help to pay LifeWise bus expenses at Lakeland.

We could do more of these trip if we had a couple additional LifeWise substitute drivers. If you'd like to drive for LifeWise at Lakeland School please fill out an online application at lifewise.org/lakelandin. You need a CDL-B, air brake, and public passenger endorsements. We can help you get a CDL and the endorsements if you don't have them.

After you go to the Creation Station at The Garage and get your pig ear, stop by Yoder's Pork Burger stand and draw a picture with sidewalk chalk on our table! Proceeds from the stand support Lagrange County youth ministries, including LifeWise. Thanks to Gerald, Tanya, and all their helpers for this ministry at Corn School.
Registration forms for LifeWise and Happy Day Club are at the booth along with information on the programs. It's been good to see many of you already. Gerald has given away a lot of hot dogs to LifeWise students in their shirts :)

Gerald (one of our bus drivers) and Tanya Yoder are having their Pork Burger and Hot Dog stand near the SE corner of Michigan and Detroit Streets this year. Proceeds from the stand go to youth ministries in Lagrange County; last year that included Lakeland LifeWise.
We would love to have some of our parents and students sign up to help at the stand. We'll be open from 4:30-9:00 Tuesday-Friday. On Saturday we'll open at 10:00 a.m. and stay open until we run out of food!
Time slots are already filling up as we have other youth ministries also helping. If you'd like to help out please message this page or contact Dave Hughes.
We also plan to be in the 2:00 p.m. parade on Saturday with the bus. We hope to have some walkers with their LifeWise shirts on. Gerald said if you walk in the parade with your shirt he'll give you a hot dog!

Before the announcements. Before the classes. Before the homework. Before the tests. Before the noise. We're going to pray.

For our friends. For our teachers. For our schools. For our communities. For our generation.

If you're nervous, go anyway. If you're wondering who's coming, go anyway. If you don't know what to say, go anyway. Just come.

See You at the Pole. Tomorrow.
