The DAR is a nonprofit, nonpolitical women's volunteer service organization dedicated to promoting Historic Preservation, Education, and Patriotism. The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is an organization dedicated to the promotion of patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America’s future through better education for children. Any woman 18 years or older regard

less of race, religion or ethnic background who can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolution is eligible for membership. The LaGrange de Lafayette Chapter, NSDAR meets the 2nd Tuesday evening of each month from May to September and on Saturday mornings from October to April in LaGrange, Indiana. Prospective members: if you need help with your application, finding a chapter, or have questions about the organization, there are lots of people here to help you!
