For more than a year our Lafayette community has held a weekly Saturday protest at the Tippecanoe County Courthouse. It has steadily grown from a couple of dedicated people to a diverse group reminding their neighbors that by working together we can demand better from our elected officials. The outpouring of support from passersby keeps us coming back every week. Bring your own sign and join any Saturday morning that you can from 9:30am - 11:00am.

This Saturday!

END DETENTION AT MIAMI CORRECTIONAL

As the temperatures rise, so does the risk to our immigrant loved ones and neighbors. Even as a coalition of organizations in Tippecanoe County, we struggle to keep up with news of detainees, but what we do know tells us it's time to act.

People who are forcibly detained by ICE from all over the Hoosier state (and across the nation) are held at Miami Correctional Facility where they are currently reporting devastating conditions and widespread medical neglect.

That's why we are engaging as a network all over Indiana for a Statewide Day of Action on Saturday, May 16th, 2026.

We've joined the Indiana Organizing Project to call for an End to ICE Detention. For more information about what's happening across the state, you can find details here. Join us this Saturday, May 16th:

Chauncey Hill1-2 pm
Meet at corner of Chauncey Ave & State St

Stay tuned for more details on rally safety tips, encouraged messaging, and more. We keep US safe. We're looking for Spanish translation--if that sounds something you can do, reach out over DM.

Today's the last day to vote in the Democratic Primary in Indiana!

We're all exhausted by the millions of dollars that Republicans have spent in our local elections trying to prove how extreme they are. Vote in the Democratic Primary to demand an alternative.

Polls are open from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM at all of these locations. You are entitled to vote as long as you arrive in line by 6:00 PM.

See who's on your ballot at indianavoters.com or find your exact sample ballot on the Tippecanoe County website: https://www.tippecanoe.in.gov/1538/Sample-Ballots-2026-Primary
