Hi everyone. Here is the link to register for the parade if you are interested in being a part of our upcoming Veterans Day Parade which is November 14th at 12:00. Participants will meet for lineup at the old High School from 11:00-11:45 so that it will start at 12:00. It starts at the old Family Dollar building which is now our voting building and goes down to Joe Stock Park. There will be a few performances on the square during the parade and Tina Groce will MC alongside our Mayor, Mike Cameron and Randy Pittman. It will be a fun time. Hope to see everyone there.

Today we recognized and honored two of our local veterans during Purple Heart Day. Daryl Brooks and Jim Hunziker. Thank you everyone that came out to support this ceremony.

Be sure to come out to Joe Stock Park this Friday at 11:00 a.m. for our Purple Heart Day ceremony. This is where we take time to honor those that were wounded in combat during there service in the armed forces.
