Last but not least on our Deput Player Spotlight Series: #44 Ashton Slater

Ashton is an 8th grader at Tecumseh Junior High School.

He absolutely loves playing baseball and football. Ashton is excited that TJHS offers middle school baseball and he can’t wait to start winter workouts.

Outside of sports he loves spending time with family, friends, playing video games, and watching sports.

This will be Ashton’s 5th season with On Deck 2030 Blue and we look forward to his hard work and dedication to the game next season!

Debut Player Spotlight Series: #40 Blake Dishman

Blake enjoys playing baseball, football, and basketball. He loves to spend time with family and friends. He also enjoys playing video games and listening to music.

We love the energy he brings to the team. This will be Blake’s 3rd Season with On Deck 2030 Blue, he is looking forward to this season and hoping to continue to improve.

Debut Player Spotlight Series: #23 Layne Weaver

Layne loves playing baseball and guitar, and he spends a lot of time outdoors hunting and fishing.

He’s a big Chicago Cubs fan and also enjoys playing some other sports like soccer, football, and basketball.

This will be Layne’s first season with On Deck 2030 Blue, and he’s really excited for this new opportunity to play for On Deck, to continue growing as an athlete and teammate.

Mason is a hardworking and dedicated student who loves to compete in everything he does. He has a strong passion for baseball, basketball, and football, always giving his best effort both on and off the field.

In addition to his athletic drive, Mason is a high academic achiever who takes his schoolwork seriously and strives for excellence in the classroom.

Beyond sports and academics, Mason volunteers for various 4-H and church activities to remain actively engaged in the community.

This will be Mason’s 3rd season with On Deck 2030 Blue. We can’t wait for his hard work this upcoming season!
