Acadiana Right to Life Acadiana Right to Life (ARTL) works through education, legislation, activism, and service to restore the right to life in Acadiana by opposing abortion.

As a local pro-life resource, we strive to educate all people in the truth about abortion. We encourage the work of pregnancy care centers that help pregnant mothers in need. ARTL promotes pro-life legislation at the local, state, and federal level and informs Acadiana residents on how their representatives stand for life. ARTL is a nonsectarian organization not affiliated with or restricted to a particular religious group. We believe we can work with anyone to defend and protect human life. ARTL is also a non-partisan organization, not affiliated with any political parties. We must work until every life is welcomed with love and protected by law.

We had such a wonderful time with the students of Mount Carmel and Vermilion Catholic High School for pro-life presentations! 🤍

In collaboration with the Diocese of Lafayette, we shared the importance of respecting and protecting the dignity of every human life, while the students also had the opportunity to learn how to make their own rosaries!

Last week, we had the opportunity to visit St. Cecilia School to give a Pro-Life 101 presentation and work with students on a research project exploring the different stages of human life. It was a great experience sharing, learning, and having meaningful conversations about the dignity and value of every human life.
