Pigeon Guillemot Breeding Survey

Look who joined us in the field—Dr. Dan Hull!

Alongside our Science Director, Terrence Lee, Dr. Hull helped launch and pilot this important conservation program in South Puget Sound nearly a decade ago. Their vision and dedication laid the foundation for the work that continues today.

AHP–LDRS has been proud to help lead the way in collecting long-term data on Pigeon Guillemots, an important indicator species for the health of the Salish Sea ecosystem. Through ongoing monitoring in the Nisqually Delta, we continue to contribute valuable information that supports conservation, research, and stewardship of our local environment.

Protecting our natural resources today helps ensure a healthier future for generations to come.

AHP–PSSVP was able to assist with moving “in-home” medical equipment for one of our local veterans.
Small acts of service help ensure our veterans can remain safe, comfortable,
and supported in their own homes.

AHP Legacy Summer Camp Scholarship recipients are learning, exploring, and growing in what may be the best classroom in the South Puget Sound—the great outdoors!

Through hands-on experiences, environmental education, and outdoor adventure, these young learners are building confidence, creating lasting memories, and developing a deeper connection to the world around them.

At A Hero’s Promise, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, discover, and thrive. We are proud to support military and veteran families through our Legacy Summer Camp Scholarship Program and invest in the next generation of leaders.
