๐Ÿ‚ THANK YOU, LABADIE! ๐Ÿ‚

Our Fall Picnic & Car Show was a HUGE success!

More importantly, because of the incredible support of our community, we were able to step up and help the Franklin County Foster Closet when they needed it most. That would not have been possible without YOUโ€”our volunteers, local businesses, participants, donors, families, and neighbors who came together to make the day so special.

The Labadie Community Association is incredibly grateful for everyone who showed up, pitched in, donated, participated, and supported our event.

This is what makes Labadie special: neighbors helping neighbors and a community that shows up for one another.

Weโ€™re already looking forward to more great events, more opportunities to bring our community together, and more ways to make a difference.

From all of us at the LCAโ€”THANK YOU! โค๏ธ

๐Ÿ“…๐Ÿ‚ YOU ASKEDโ€ฆ HERE IT IS, LABADIE!๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿ“…

Weโ€™ve had lots of people asking whatโ€™s coming up around town, so we put together a Labadie Community Events Calendar to help everyone keep track! โค๏ธ

Thereโ€™s plenty happening over the next several weeksโ€”from *mFall Fest & the Car Show ๐Ÿš—๐ŸŽƒ to the Back to School Color Run๐ŸŒˆ, Fall Market & Chili Cook-Off๐ŸŒถ๏ธ, and our Mad Scientist Halloween๐Ÿงช๐Ÿ‘ป!

๐Ÿ“Œ Save the flyer. Share it with your neighbors. Mark those calendars.

We love seeing our little community come together, and there are some great events ahead!

And if we missed an upcoming Labadie community event, drop it in the comments so we can keep everyone in the loop. ๐Ÿงก

โค๏ธ๐Ÿš’ **A Community Act of Kindness** ๐Ÿš’โค๏ธ

Sometimes the true spirit of a small-town community shines in the most unexpected ways.

At the Labadie Picnic Live Auction, a generous individual placed the winning bid on the"Ride to School in a Fire Truck" experience donated by the Boles Fire Protection District. Rather than keeping the prize, this person chose to donate the certificate to George.

George, along with his mom and dad, would like to extend their deepest and most heartfelt thanks to the anonymous donor. Your kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness have created a memory that George will cherish for years to come.

While we may not know your name, please know that your selfless gesture made a tremendous impact on one very excited young man and his family.

๐Ÿš’โค๏ธ George is already counting down the days until fall and can't wait for his unforgettable ride to school in a fire truck!

Thank you for reminding us what makes our community so special. Acts of kindness like this are what the Labadie Picnic and the Labadie community are all about.

~This post was made at the request and with the permission of his family.
