Roman began his career with Ryerson in 2005, specializing in stainless steel. After five years, he transitioned to Ken-Mac Metals while maintaining his focus on stainless steel flat roll. In 2016, he joined aluminum flat roll mill GARMCO in the Kingdom of Bahrain, where his focus expanded into aluminum.

Leveraging this experience, Roman launched the aluminum flat roll product line and import program at tech startup Reibus in 2020. In 2023, he joined Central National Gottesman (CNG), where he manages aluminum and stainless flat roll procurement and sales.
