LASSO Equine Therapy & Rescue LASSO Horse Rescue is a non-profit organization committed to giving horses a better future. Help us provide care, shelter and new homes to horses in need.

LASSO's mission is to enrich lives and strengthen the bond between people and horses through compassionate rescue & rehabilitation, community outreach, youth development, and equine-assisted programs that foster healing, growth, and opportunity. One of our primary programs is the use of the horses in our care in equine assisted therapy.

❤️ There was a time when Red would stay as far away from us as possible… tucked into the corner, unsure, guarded, and just trying to feel safe.

Today, he saw me walk into the pasture… and chose to come over.

All on his own.

It might seem like a small moment, but for a horse like Red, it’s everything. These are the quiet wins that mean the most—the ones where trust starts to replace fear.
