What an amazing day!! LPC you answered the call. To say we stocked the shelves is an understatement!! To be able to help Heartland LPC continue it’s work to feed the community was an amazing and humbling experience, and to see the scouts eyes light up when they saw a bag of food on a doorstep made the experience even better!! If by chance we missed you this morning no worries! Message us and we will coordinate a pick up time and get it to the food pantry!!

We are less than a week away from our pick up day for our first annual canned food drive! Please have all donations out on your porch or doorstep by 8:30am on Saturday November 8th we will be starting the rounds at 9am. Make sure to have donations visible from the street, and in a grocery bag if possible. If by chance we miss picking up your donation please get in contact with Mitch Harrison, Chris Ribble, or Bechthold and we will coordinate with you to get your donation picked up. Remember all canned food donations are going to our local food pantry at Heartland LPC. We will see you Saturday!!

La Porte City residents! Pack 3080 is starting up their first annual canned food drive! Here’s how it works, gather up some non perishable food items and put them in a grocery bag, on the morning of Saturday November 8th put the bag on your front door step, the cub scouts will be making the rounds from 9am to 1pm to collect the non perishable food items from your door step, and that’s it! Once collected we will deliver it to Heartland LPC Food pantry to stock their shelves just in time for Thanksgiving! We will see you on the 8th!

Last May Pack 3080 had their very first camp out at Backbone State Park. It was a great weekend packed full of adventure, from walking the trout streams cleaning up garbage, to fishing and of course plenty of s’more’s 😁. It is truly amazing making memories with these young individuals and thanks to them Pack 3080’s future is bright!
