It’s that time again… The La Pine Fire District Stair Climb Team is back! Our team of 13 Firefighters will be climbing for a cure on March 8th, 2026! Over the next months, the team will continue to train and fundraise in preparation for this year’s climb. Over the weekend, 13 LPFD Firefighters climbed 69 flights of stairs, 1,356 steps, and 788 vertical feet of elevation in the 34th annual LLS Seattle Stairclimb! The La Pine Fire District Stairclimb Team along with Century Commons Taphouse is hosting a Pint Night Fundraiser Event! Sunday, March 2nd, 12-4pm at Century Commons Taphouse. This event will help support the LPFD Stairclimb Team’s fundraising efforts in preparation for the 2025 Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Seattle Stairclimb! A portion of sales through Century Commons Taphouse will be directly donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through LPFD’s team. There will be fire engine show & tell, raffles and prizes, and more! Bring out the whole family, with children’s activities available! Save the date, and we hope to see you there!

We have 13 members of the La Pine Fire District participating in the 34th annual Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Seattle Stairclimb on March 9th, 2025. Members will climb 69 flights of stairs in an effort to raise awareness and fight blood cancers. Stay tuned for updates on fundraising events and team training in our community.
