Thank you to everyone who made our inaugural Medicaid Policy Symposium a success and especially to our Steering Committee Members for their commitment and guidance on programming - Co-Chair Kimberly Moser, Kentucky State Representative - 64, Co-Chair Rep. Alicia Rule, Selina Bliss For State Representative - District 1, State Senator Mattie Hunter, Warme for Iowa, Delegate Heather Bagnall, Senator Sylvia Santana, Representative Cindy Roe and Tennessee Senator Becky Massey.

Women In Government brought together nearly 80 state legislators from 30 states, policy experts and leaders from across the country for meaningful conversations on the challenges and opportunities shaping Medicaid policy today.

We’re thrilled to announce Medicaid Policy Symposium attendees will hear from Dr. Timothy Westlake, Chief of Staff at SAMHSA during dinner on September 8th, Hemi Tewarson, Executive Director at the National Academy for State Health Policy during breakfast on September 9th, and Stephanie Carlton, Deputy Administrator and Chief Clinical AI Officer at CMS Administrator Dr. Oz during lunch on September 9th.

With their expertise in healthcare, behavioral health, Medicaid, and state and federal health policy, Dr. Westlake, Hemi Tewarson and Stephanie Carlton will bring valuable perspectives to women state legislators during their keynotes that you will not want to miss!
