Thank you to everyone who encouraged and supported me on my journey for Fayette County Fair Junior Miss. I may not have won, but I learned so much from this experience.

Congratulations to Anabelle Tyson-Zwahr for Fayette County Jr. Miss and Hailey Janish for earning your crowns! Thank you Hailey for your kindness and mentorship. Congratulations Ally and Kara! Thank you to the 2024 Court for your advice and wisdom. Thank you Shannon Koehl-Hemmitt for your direction and care. Thank you to area businesses (Fitzpatrick Chiropractic Clinic, Mac's Daqs Bar & Lounge, Jay Dee'z Sports Grill, Reba's Deli & Pizzeria - La Grange,TX, The UPS Store 6974, Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club) that allowed me to sell passes. Thank you to my Aunt B for designing my print materials and The UPS Store for printing them. Thank you to my Great Aunty Deb (Deborah Fitzpatrick Behringer) for always showing up for my brother and I. Thank you to Mrs. Krystal (Dahse) for encouraging me and promoting me. Thank you to Mica Klesel (Re've Salon) for doing my pageant hair and caring for my curls. Thank you to my family, especially my mom, for helping me. She stepped out of her comfort zone to manage my social media, took me to ALL the events and places, and encouraged me to keep doing my best.

Things are wrapping up! On Thursday I participated in my first ever live radio interview with KTIM - FM 89.1, and today I completed my pre-pageant interview for the Fayette County Fair Junior Miss competition. I felt so good about both interviews!

As of now, all the tickets I have on hand are spoken for! I so appreciate everyone’s support! This whole process has been an amazing learning experience for me, and whatever the outcome, I am thankful to have been part of this community event!

Most days after school for the next two weeks, I’ll be set-up at Fitzpatrick Chiropractic Clinic with Fayette County Fair carnival mega passes for sale. The clinic is located at 250 E. Colorado in downtown La Grange. Swing on by and see me! Today, I’ll be here until 6:30 p.m.

This last week Wednesday was my first day of 6th grade, my brother’s first day of high school, and my mom’s 5th first day of teaching! With the start of the school year, it’s been super busy!

Starting Monday, August 11, I’ll have Fayette County Fair carnival mega passes for sale and pick-up at Fitzpatrick Chiropractic Clinic. Thank you to my Pops and his staff for helping me!

Of all the animals that I love, horses are my FAVORITE!

I’ve taken horseback riding lessons the last few years. In San Antonio, I took western riding lessons, and in Mexico, I took escaramuza lessons. Escaramuza is an all-female equestrian sport where a group of women ride synchronized in choreographed maneuvers. If you have seen the women wearing huge, colorful dresses riding sidesaddle, that’s it! My favorite rodeo event to watch is barrel racing! I’ll never forget the first time I saw barrel racers live at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo.

I took last year off from riding, but I’m excited to get back in the saddle again soon!

I’m at Mac's Daqs with carnival passes 🎡 🎟️ pizza 🍕 and a blue raspberry lemonade!

Ty Walker starts at 8 pm. Come out early, get a seat, and get your passes.

Only so many mega passes are out for sale, so get yours before they’re sold out! (Daily passes are $35-45. 😳) Also, donations are always appreciated! Donations are turned into passes to give back to the community. 🤩

Something to know about me is that I LOVE animals!

I have the best blue heeler in the whole world named Luna. And, we recently adopted Lacey, the sweetest little kitty, from Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter, serving Fayette County Texas.

I love volunteering at the shelter! My favorite things to do are walk the dogs and play with the puppies and kittens. It’s so important to give the animals exercise and socialization while they are at the shelter awaiting their forever home.

✨ Community Spotlight ✨
Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter began in 1994 as Fayette County Animal Shelter. In large part from Gardenia E. Janssen’s donation, its current location was built in 2000 and then renamed in 2008 in her honor. Over 1,500 dogs and cats are taken in annually, and the facility is currently under construction for a major expansion.
