People often ask how old their child has to be to play Little League. While there are obviously exceptions (a 9 year-old who has never played should start in coach pitch) this is what's recommended. Make sure you

bring your child to the evaluation sessions if you want them to play up to a higher level. While younger children are allowed to register for TBall, registering them early means that coaches have to manage children that are too young, and children get bored playing more than two years of TBall.
