🐾 Meet Charlie! 🐾

Charlie is a handsome Catahoula Leopard/Aussie mix pup with the sweetest eyes and an adorable goofy side to match. Born on 11/20/2025 (Mama Lucy’s pup), he’s right in that fun (and busy!) puppy stage where he’s learning all the important life skills.

Charlie was originally adopted as a tiny pup, but like many young dogs, he’s still working through the basics — potty training, crate training, and those teething days that can lead to some chewing. All totally normal for his age, and he’s already making great progress!

🎃🐾 Chucky Is Still Waiting for His Happy Ending 🐾🎃

Chucky’s story started in a cardboard box.

Just before Halloween, Chucky and his brother were discovered abandoned near a set of community mailboxes by a kind-hearted Good Samaritan. They were only 5-6 weeks old, covered in fleas, riddled with parasites, and barely old enough to eat solid food.

Thanks to loving care, full bellies, and a second chance at life, both boys grew into healthy, happy pups. His brother Freddie has already found his forever family… but Chucky is still waiting for someone to choose him.

Now 8-9 months old and about 25 lbs, Chucky is everything you could want in a young companion. He’s playful, affectionate, active, and full of personality. He loves other dogs, adores toys, and is always ready for an adventure or a cuddle session. Despite his rough start, Chucky has a wonderful temperament and is a well-behaved boy who simply wants a family of his own.

🍌 Meet Banana 🍌
Needs a Foster or Adoptive Home by 6/15 to Join Our Rescue!

Some dogs have a story that could have broken them. Banana’s story simply made her stronger. ❤️

Banana is an approximately 2½-year-old, 50-pound Pittie mix with a heart as big as her smile. When she first entered a Texas shelter in April 2025, she had been through more than any dog should. She was found with porcupine quills, injuries from being hit by a car, and was heartworm positive.

Despite everything, Banana never stopped wagging her tail.

Her injuries had already begun healing incorrectly before she received medical care, and veterinarians determined surgery would likely cause more harm than good. As a result, Banana has a unique little limp and takes a daily medication to keep her comfortable. She may need a helping hand getting into the car or onto the couch, but don’t let that fool you… this girl is ready to live life to the fullest!

Today, Banana is fully recovered from heartworm treatment and thriving.

Her DNA results show she’s mostly Pittie with a fun mix of Supermutt (including Chow, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Husky, and Boston Terrier) plus a sprinkle of German Shepherd, but her breed makeup is far less important than the amazing dog she has become.

After everything she’s survived, Banana deserves a family who will see beyond her limp and recognize the resilient, loving soul underneath.

🐾 Meet Wilma 🐾

Wilma is a 1.5-year-old maybe-Boxer, maybe-mystery-mix, but one thing is certain… she is 100% adorable 💕

This sweet girl is currently thriving in foster care alongside two doggy friends and has proven herself to be an excellent housemate. Wilma plays nicely, respects boundaries, and takes treats ever so gently because this girl has manners.

Her absolute favorite thing in the world? Cuddling.
If you sit down, Wilma assumes it’s an official invitation for snuggles. Movie night on the couch? She’s ready. Personal space? She’s not entirely convinced that’s a real thing. Wilma may not technically be lap-sized, but nobody has told her that yet 😄

When she’s not busy being a professional cuddle bug, Wilma loves soaking up sunshine outdoors, exploring the yard, and bravely keeping rabbits in line. More than anything, she just wants to be near her people. Wherever you are, that’s exactly where Wilma wants to be too.

Like many dogs, the kennel isn’t her favorite place, but she’s willing to negotiate for snacks. She keeps her kennel clean like the responsible lady she is! Wilma is also working on keeping all four paws on the floor when she gets excited and learning that shoes are not chew toys. She’s smart, eager, and making great progress every day.

Pecan is one of the six adorable Nutty Bunch siblings, and while she may not be the first puppy to race into your arms, she just might be the one who steals your heart the deepest. ❤️

This sweet girl is around 3 months old (DOB 2/18/2026) and weighs about 15 lbs. Like her siblings, she’s expected to grow into a medium-to-large-sized dog. We believe she’s a delightful mix of Shepherd, Collie, Pittie, and pure puppy magic.

Pecan is a shy little soul who takes her time learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. When she first arrived in foster care, her tail stayed tucked tightly beneath her belly. But day by day, she’s been finding her courage. Now that tail is carried proudly, and she’s even starting to approach her foster family for pets and scratches. Watching her confidence bloom has been nothing short of beautiful.

One thing Pecan knows for certain? She LOVES other dogs. They help her feel safe and show her how wonderful life can be. Because of that, we strongly feel she’d do best in a home with a confident, playful canine companion who can continue helping her navigate the world.

🥜 Meet Pistachio 🥜

One of the adorable Nutty Bunch siblings, Pistachio is a 3-month-old Texas sweetheart (DOB 2/18/2026) with a fluffy coat, giant puppy paws, and eyes that could melt just about anyone. We think she’s a mix of Shepherd, Collie, Pittie, and pure cuteness.

Pistachio may be a little shy when meeting new people, but her story explains why. She and her siblings spent their earliest weeks living beneath a shed, where they learned the world could be unpredictable. During that time, people would often reach underneath, pull puppies out, and then place them back. While they were never harmed, those experiences left these babies a little unsure about being picked up and handled.

Because of that, Pistachio needs a family willing to give her patience, kindness, and time to build confidence. The beautiful thing? Once she knows she’s safe, she absolutely melts. Hold her close and she’ll snuggle right in, wrapping herself around you as if she’s been waiting her whole life for that feeling of security.

💖 Meet Zola: Looking for the Right Kind of Forever for a Deaf sweet doggie💖

Zola thought she had found her happily-ever-after.

But sometimes love isn’t enough if the fit isn’t right.

After going home, it became clear that the busy, high-energy environment was simply too much for her. Zola gets overstimulated when life gets chaotic, and while this wasn’t anyone’s fault, it means she’s once again searching for the family she was always meant to have.

At just 2-3 years old and 40 pounds, Zola has so much love packed into her little body. She raised six beautiful puppies (our famous Z Pups! 🐾), watched them find families of their own, and now it’s finally her turn.

One of the things that makes Zola extra special is that she’s deaf. But don’t let that fool you. This girl is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and loves working with her people. She responds beautifully to her training collar and thrives when given guidance, routine, and love.

🐶 Heeler Mix
⚖️ 20–25 lbs (and still growing!)

Rosie’s story started a little rough… she was found as a tiny stray in a rural area, covered in hundreds of fleas and trying to make it on her own. But if Rosie remembers those days, she certainly doesn’t let them define her. She has traded survival mode for puppy mode and is fully embracing the good life 💕

Today, Rosie is everything a puppy should be: sweet, friendly, curious, and full of love. She believes laps are the best seat in the house and will happily climb up to shower you with kisses before settling in for a nap.

She’s got a wonderful mix of independence and companionship. Rosie can entertain herself with toys and chews, but she’s happiest when people or another dog join the fun. She loves exploring outside, taking in all the sights and smells with that classic curious puppy spirit.

Rosie is also making her foster family proud! She’s doing great with potty training, is super food motivated (which makes training extra fun), and has been sleeping through the night in her kennel like a champ.

And the best part? Rosie is a social butterfly 🩷 She’s been doing great with dogs, cats, and kids, making her a wonderful candidate for many different types of homes.

Sweet Buster is a local dog who is in desperate need of rescue. He is in need of a foster or adoptive home before we can bring him in. He's likely lived outside his whole life so will need help learning some manners. Help us Help Buster!

Buster is a handsome 1-year-old Blue Heeler/Lab mix weighing in around 45–50 lbs and he’s ready to find a family to call his own ❤️

This sweet guy has mostly lived life outdoors, but don’t let that fool you… when he’s spent time inside, he’s done great and hasn’t had accidents! With a little routine and consistency, he may settle into home life faster than you’d expect.
Buster is incredibly people friendly and loves being around his humans. He’s the kind of dog who seems happy just being included and getting attention.

A few things we know about Buster:
