Kulea Childcare Villages is helping orphaned and vulnerable children in Kenya and Tanzania to be raised by their families. Kulea operates a Child Sponsorship program and a Maisha Matters program. Child Sponsorship helps children attend school and helps the family get on their feet by establishing a small business. At Maisha Matters we provide free formula milk to babies who lose mom in childbirth,

allowing them to remain with a family member. We also help their caregiver start a small business. We believe children have a right to grow up in a family, and we do everything possible to make that happen.

It was wonderful to see all the babies and their caregivers today! We thank God for the babies continued growth and progress. Today we talked to our caregivers about maternal health and how important it is.

Jason Baya, our Kenya Board Treasurer, stopped by today to help the team prepare a report. We are thankful for volunteers!

Today, Kulea Villages honors (Hongera!) all fathers in Kenya and Tanzania who choose to stay with their families and not run away when life gets tough! May God bless each father who is a living example to his children.
