Sometimes the most important conversations happen when we simply pull up a chair and spend time together.

This summer, CASA is launching Seats at the Table through Kokomo Creek Chubs games and other community gatherings.

The idea is simple.

We want to invite people to sit with us, ask questions, share experiences, and learn what it means to be a CASA volunteer and advocate for children in our community.

No pressure. No hard pitch. Just real conversations with people who have seen the impact that advocacy can have on a child's life.

Maybe you have wondered what CASA does.
Maybe you have thought about volunteering.
Maybe you know someone who would be a great advocate.

If that sounds like you, we would love to invite you to the table, because every child deserves someone in their corner.

Like, comment, or share this post if you would like to join us for a Seat at the Table. Let us treat you to a VIP experience with unlimited soda, popcorn, hot dogs, hamburgers, pretzels and more while we cheer on the Kokomo CreekChubs!

We are a day late, but please join us in wishing CASA volunteer, Linda Kepner, a very, very Happy Birthday! 😁🌺🎂🎉

We had the incredible honor of celebrating the heart of our mission —our volunteers — at our CASA Volunteer Appreciation Banquet 💙

We recognized our Volunteer of the Year, Eric Willhite and Rookie of the Year, Brenda Grimm, and it was truly special to have those past volunteers and directors join us for this meaningful evening.

As we celebrate 40 years of the Howard County CASA program, our Legacy of Hope continues to grow stronger because of each person who has dedicated their time and compassion to advocating for children.

Thank you to the Honorable Lynn Murray for being our special speaker.

A special thank you to Holly Becker, CASA Director, for continuing this legacy and leading us forward with passion and purpose.

Together, we are building a future filled with Hope. ❤️💙

Because of dedicated volunteers, 128 children in our community have had a CASA this year. With 32 more volunteers, we can serve every child currently waiting. This is something we can accomplish~ together ❤️

Eat pizza. Make an impact 💙🍕

Join us Thursday, April 9 from 4-7 at Bruno’s Pizza Kokomo for a Dine to Donate event supporting CASA and children in our community. Please share!

April is National Child Abuse Awareness month. At Bruno’s we believe are passionate about the care and safety of children.

According to https://www.nationalchildrensalliance.org/, more than 530,000 children are known to U.S. authorities to be abused. An estimated 532,228 children (unique incidents) were victims of abuse and neglect in the U.S. in 2024, the most recent year for which there is national data. That’s 7 children out of every thousand, or nearly one in a hundred.

Help prevent child abuse. You have the power. Learn why child abuse is everyone's business, what to look for, and what do to stop it.

LEARN THE SIGNS https://www.nationalchildrensalliance.org/itsyourbusiness/

Do something. You may be the only one who will.
