Today is Glioblastoma Awareness Day.
Three years ago, our family began a journey we never imagined.
After Karen’s courageous 17-month battle with glioblastoma, I made her a promise…that I would do everything I could to make sure her story didn’t end with her diagnosis.
That promise became Music for a Cure.
Today, I’m incredibly proud to share what an amazing community accomplished in our very first year.
Together, we raised $68,000 for the Glioblastoma Research Organization!
This video is more than pictures from an event.
It’s a story of family.
Of friendship.
Of volunteers.
Of sponsors.
Of musicians.
Of hope.
And it’s a reminder of what can happen when people come together for something bigger than themselves.
The song in this video, “Humble and Kind,” was Karen’s favorite. She played it to our three boys often, so it only felt right that it be the soundtrack to this milestone.
