Our team in Bukavu is working everyday to make sure our people affected by the recent fire disaster have food and basic needs.

Today was an other day where the team where to buy some supplies and unfortunately there is no easy way to get to the place so they have to carry everything in their head.
But they made and now the people can be able to eat today .

BUKAVU NEEDS OUR HELP

Last week, a devastating fire claimed the lives of 27 children, leaving families and the wider community of Chimpunda facing unimaginable grief.
But the tragedy did not end with the fire.
Survivors are now struggling without adequate medical care, shelter, food, and basic necessities. Many families have nowhere safe to sleep and are desperately calling out for help, not knowing where their next support will come from.
In the midst of this heartbreaking situation, we can bring hope.

She has gone to school but came back home and found nothing.
She is asking for our help because she has nothing now. Everything is gone in the fire that ravaged Bukavu in the eastern Congo.
Together we can give the people of Bukavu support through this difficult times.

The children are now traumatized and can not imagine what has happened. They have seen their friends in school burn to death and coming back home to nothing.
This is not normal and we hope we will know and understand what is happening!

Only yesterday a fire left 24 students dead and hundreds of families homeless . Today again is just happen not far from where there was fire yesterday. Congo truly need our prayers and our support.

Condolences to all the people affected and we hope the solution to preventing this from happening will be found soon.

Fire took the lives of 27 students and devastated an entire community in Bukavu.
In this video, a child tells us how they had to force their way out of the classroom to escape the flames.
No child should have to fight for their life inside a place meant for learning and safety.
