Important Conference Dates:

The last day to book a hotel at the conference rate is July 24th (the overflow hotel information is under the conference link on the website)
Conference registration cut-off is August 1st
If you registered and still have to pay, that date is August 10th
Information is being uploaded to the app and should be going live soon
Conference begins August 24th!

Limited number of rooms opened up across the street… book soon!

NIOA has managed to obtain a very limited number of additional overflow rooms at the Clearwater Beach Marriott Resort in Sand Key, directly across the street from our conference host hotel. Rooms are $189 a night, plus taxes.

Don't delay, these rooms must be booked by July 26th and when they're gone, they're gone.

Some rooms are also still available at the Springhill Suites and Residence Inn hotels across the bridge in Clearwater Beach, but must be booked by July 24th to receive the conference rate.

Nominations are being accepted for qualified members who wish to run for Vice President or Secretary. The election will be held at the 2025 Training Conference. Vice President is a three-year Board commitment, serving as Vice President in year one, President in year two, and Immediate Past President in year three. The Secretary serves as two-year term.

Members desiring to be considered for either position may nominate themselves by letter to the Executive Director stating their intention to run for a position, qualifications for same, and the benefits they can provide to the NIOA if elected. Nominees should also include a high-quality headshot and a brief bio. Such nominations shall be submitted by email to [email protected] by 5:00pm Eastern Daylight Time on May 26, 2025. Nominations submitted after this date/time will not be eligible. Nominations from the floor at the annual meeting shall not be recognized or accepted.

All nominees for open or vacant Board positions must have been a Member in good standing for three (3) consecutive years, including the year of nomination and must have attended at least two (2) annual meetings in a five (5) year period, including the year of nomination. 2025 Award information below! Get your nominations ready… window for nominations opens on May 1st!

The 2024 NIOA Awards were a huge success and we are excited to announce that the nomination window for the 2025 NIOA awards will open on May 1st through June 14th.

The top 3 finalist from each category will be announced on July 1st and the winners will be announced on the Wednesday morning of . The awards link will be live on the Conference page on May 1st and will include descriptions of each category along with submission and upload instructions.
