Life Reins enjoyed participating today at Farm Day at Roane State expo! What a joy to be able to share our love of horses with all of the third graders from Roane County Schools!
The day was bittersweet as we took our last two lesson horses to their new retirement home. We are undergoing a transformation where we will no longer be offering lesson horses for beginners to come learn with. Instead, we will be answering the call to travel out more in order to help children who already own horses but are needing assistance to help them reach their horsemanship goals and problem.solve with their own horses.
We have been so thankful for the years that we have been able to provide lesson horses at our home facility for beginners to have the chance to come learn on. These horses have been absolute Saints and have given so much to the young people who showed up to learn how to put the relationship with the horse as their number one priority in their horsemanship Journey.
The horses have earned their retirement and have landed in loving homes with students and Families who have come and developed relationships with these horses prior to taking them home.
We look forward to what the future has to offer here at Life Reins!
