Here's a stat you won't find on our adoption page: the number of people who've gotten better at caring for animals because of the ones we've helped. 🦎

It's a big number. Every rescue teaches someone something, whether they're headed for a career in exotic medicine, a lifetime of responsible keeping, or a role helping others understand why any of this matters.

The animals get healthy. The people get better. And the entire field gets stronger for it.

Kicking off with NARBC: North American Reptile Breeders Conference Tinley Park (coming up on Oct 10-11), then One Health Day at the Nashville Zoo, NARBC St. Louis, and the Southeast Reptile Expo in Atlanta.

We’re bringing some of our friendliest rescues to UT Institute of Agriculture AgDay on Friday, October 2! Find us in the UT College of Veterinary Med concourse, right outside Pendergrass Library, from 1-5 PM.

Come meet the animals, learn about our Nationwide H**p Adoption Program, and see the partnership with UTCVM in action. Family-friendly and free to attend.

WHERE DO THESE ANIMALS COME FROM?
➡️ Not from us pulling pets away from stores or breeders. Every animal here arrived through surrender, an emergency, a special-needs situation, or a case that needed real rehab. Life happens, and we're the safety net when it does.

ISN'T THIS JUST A RETAIL RESCUE?
➡️ Nope. We spend $300-500 per animal on care before adoption. Our fees don't come close to covering that, and donations bridge the gap. We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that loses money on every rescue.

SO YOU'RE ANTI-PET-TRADE?
➡️ The opposite. We're a proud USARK member. We help businesses reduce disease, and we keep h**ps out of the wild. Adoption and responsible pet ownership were never either/or.

ARE YOU JUST ONE COMPANY'S CHARITY?
➡️ Not at all. We're powered by a whole community of member businesses, breeders, vets, and supporters across the country. Not one company. Many.

DO YOU ONLY RESCUE LOCALLY?
➡️ We've taken surrenders from 18 states and counting. This is a truly nationwide program.

EVERY 👏 single 👏 animal 👏 that's found their forever home through our program has stayed there for good. No returns. No re-homes. No exceptions.

That's the payoff of doing this the right way: full vet care, real rehabilitation, and a thorough matching process before any animal is ever adoptable.

We don't cut corners, and our placements prove it.
