Hello friends! As we wrap up a wonderful week of Camping for Cans, we want to thank everyone for your very generous donations of food (and toys) into our Mission of Hope Blue Barrels!! What a true blessing it was to see the barrels overfilled daily and our hearts were moved beyond words! We saw many smiles and very touching moments as so many people and families came to bring food for those in need. Thank you to Food City for hosting this very special event to help our neighbors in Appalachia. Thank you again to all of you who donated, came by to say hello to Coach, and showed so much love and compassion for others during this holiday season. The Christmas Vacation Family Truckster will be hitting the roads this weekend and all through the holidays to bring more smiles and joy! Thank you again and we look forward to seeing even more of your smiles soon! God Bless you and CARE ON!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! We are so very THANKFUL for all of you and especially to those who are filling up our Blue Barrels for Mission of Hope! Please be sure to come see us at the Deane Hill Food City tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 28th for an exciting day filled with fun festivities beginning at 3:00pm! Ho Ho Ho!! Bring the kids out to see and take pictures with the Scruffy City Santa and Mrs. Claus from 3:00pm-6:00pm!! From 4:00pm-6:00pm, there will be FREE hot chocolate and s'more's for everyone, compliments of Food City!! There will also be a very special visit from our Cousin Eddie along with all of his props! This will be another great opportunity for fun holiday photos so be sure not to miss it!! Of course, it wouldn't be a complete celebration without some Tennessee Volunteer Orange, so the Lady Vol LOCOS will also be there to help us ring in the holidays! And, it CERTAINLY would not be a complete holiday celebration without seeing National Lampoon's Movie, "CHRISTMAS VACATION"!!! We will be showing 2 FREE screenings of this movie on a MASSIVE LED WALL, compliments of Colossal Productions!! Showtimes will be at 6:00pm and 8:00pm! So, tell your friends and family, bundle up, bring your chairs and blankets (or sit in your warm vehicles for the old fashion "Drive-In" movie style) and enjoy this holiday classic movie with us! All events are FREE to the public so please come join us! If you are able to do so, please bring a canned food good or a few for the Blue Barrels so that we can help our friends in need this holiday season! Also, tomorrow night will be Coach Moore's last night camping out in the Cousin Eddie RV at Food City! Thanks to everyone who has come by to bring canned food and say hello! Beautiful voices filled the air while Chilly Bear danced along during Day #3 of Camping for Cans to benefit the Mission of Hope! Thank you Knoxville Catholic High School Singers for sharing your amazing voices with us and thanks to the Knoxville Ice Bears for bringing "Chilly" out to the Deane Hill Food City today! Chilly was hilarious and brought many smiles and laughs! Thank you everyone for another wonderful day of filling up the Blue Barrels with canned goods! Let's do it again tomorrow while we show our appreciation for police, firefighters and all first responders! God Bless you all and CARE ON!!!

The blessings continue!! Day #2 of Camping for Cans to benefit Mission of Hope at the Deane Hill Food City brought many smiles, prayers and food for our friends and neighbors in need! Thank you to our amazing and wonderful new friends from Godolphin Balloon and Face Paint for donating your love and time today! ❤️
The Blue Barrels got filled up again today, and we can not thank you all enough! ❤️🙏 We need to keep this going all week so that many families can get the food they need, and feel our love and support! Please bring the kids out tomorrow to meet "Chilly", the Knoxville Ice Bears mascot, enjoy wonderful Christmas music sung by the Knoxville Catholic High School Singers, Knoxville nostalgia and more! Day #1 of Camping for Cans to benefit the Mission of Hope at the Deane Hill Food City was a great success and so much fun! Thank you to Chris Allen, President of the Knoxville Smokies for bringing mascots, Jackson and Knox! They are hilarious and brought many smiles! It was also great meeting many new friends and we thank you all for filling the Blue Barrels today! We can't wait to see you all tomorrow for free face painting and balloon twisting from 2:00pm - 4:00pm! Keep those cans coming so together we can help those in need this holiday season! Lets fill these barrels up again tomorrow!! God Bless you all and CARE ON!!!
