I recently ran into a friend of Kylie’s who shared some pictures she had of Kylie. While adding these new treasures to my photos, I heard her voice in a video and found this picture of a summer day swimming seven years ago. Kylie was 17 when she texted this picture to me excited to tell me what she wanted me to pick her up for dinner. If you know Kylie, you know she wanted a chicken sandwich. Miss you everyday Ms. K and I’d love a chance to pick you up a sandwich one more time❤️

Every day, a familiar sight, sound, or song takes me back to a memory of Kylie.

Just the other morning, I was taking the dogs out when I noticed a neighbor's cat carefully balancing along the top of our fence. Startled, the nimble cat darted down the fence and leaped to the other side before the dogs even noticed.

That was all it took to spark a perfect memory of a Halloween so many years ago when Kylie dressed up as a cat. I can still see her wide-eyed and a little uncertain about walking up to a stranger's house at night. But the moment a piece of candy dropped into her pumpkin bucket, those nerves quickly turned into excitement.

Later that day, I searched through old photos and found the exact picture I had been remembering.

I'm sharing it today in honor of Kylie's 24th birthday.

Though she is no longer with us, her beauty, her light, and her spirit continue to shine through the memories she left behind. We see reflections of her everywhere, in unexpected moments, cherished photographs, and the stories we continue to tell.

Happy Birthday, Miss K. We love and miss you more than words can express, and we always will.

🌼🐾 Kylie’s Kitten Fund 2026 Update:

Knoxville, you showed up in the most beautiful way. At our Kitten Shower with Young-Williams Animal Center last Saturday, this community wrapped its arms around the tiniest, most vulnerable babies — and together, we raised $12,360.11 in a single day.

That’s formula.
That’s bottles.
That’s pâté, warmers, and second chances.

Kylie loved animals with her whole heart. She had a way of connecting with every creature she met, and it means so much to see her kindness still rippling outward through this partnership and through all of you.

💛 Thank you to everyone who donated, fostered, volunteered, or simply showed up with love. But we’re not done yet — not even close.

Our goal is $30,000 by June 30th, and thousands of kittens will rely on this fund in the months ahead. Let’s keep Kylie’s light shining and make sure every tiny life gets the warmth, nourishment, and care they deserve.

Say hi to Kitten Kylie and Kitten Josie! 🐱 These adorable little nuggets are available now for adoption at Young-Williams Animal Center. Kylie is a sweet cuddle bug with big meows and her sister Josie (gray kitty!) was a sleepy girl today. Stop by YWACs division street location to adopt them today. Tell them the Roberto’s sent you and they’ll waive the adoption fee. 🥰

A New Place to Remember Kylie 🌼

We’re honored to share that a new picnic table has been placed at Camp Honey Coffee & Provisions (5819 Lyons View Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919) in loving memory of Kylie.

Kylie adored coffee, supporting local businesses, and finding joy in the little moments — all things that Camp Honey embodies so well. We hope you’ll stop by soon, grab your favorite drink, take in the view, and think of our sweet Miss Kylie. May this table be a place of connection, reflection, and love for everyone who knew her and everyone who wishes they had.
