Today, the Volunteer Chapter is asking every Defenders chapter and every member of our extended family across the country to rally behind the family of one of our own.
The little boy in this story is Rocky, the newborn nephew of the Vice President of the Volunteer Chapter, Pebbles. Rocky has already endured an incredible fight, including three open heart surgeries, one of which was a lifesaving heart transplant at only 28 days old. While his journey continues, his family remains by his side every step of the way, facing not only the emotional weight of this battle but also the financial burden that comes with extended hospital stays, travel, lodging, and everyday expenses.
As Defenders, we know that brotherhood isn’t just something we wear on our backs—it’s something we live. When one of our families is hurting, we stand beside them.
We’re asking every Defenders chapter, every member, every supporter, and everyone who follows our page to please take a few moments to read Rocky’s story and share it with others. WVLT TV aired a story about Rocky which is attached below.
