It’s been a LONG TIME since I’ve post here! We still help folks that need chairs. We have gifted all of the chairs we had collected from donations for various illnesses.

As you may recall, this started out as “loaning” chairs to people recovering from cancer surgery.

The need for these chairs is HUGE!! Not everyone can spare the money they cost.

I had a lady call me today in need of a chair, but we currently have none. I was informed of one that could be donated over a week ago, but I’ve been unable to do much of anything but work since Sept 20th, and forgot about it until today. Naturally she had given it to someone else, and I can’t blame her.

I found a chair last week on Marketplace for $90 that I decided I would buy for us to keep.(with our money) After the call today, I contacted the seller and the chair is still available.

I’m buying the chair and the lady’s family will pick it up. She also needs a rolling walker with the bench seat. I HAVE ONE! It was given to me when Kim and I went to GA to get my wicker patio table and chairs! It’s just waiting for her in my garage. The Lord knew someone would need it! I had no clue.

God is awesome y’all!!! If you have a chair to donate….we can find it a home that needs one.

Don’t tell me the Lord doesn’t take care of things. We are lending out our last chair tomorrow for someone in need.

We’ve never been without a Lift Chair on hand since we started The Chair of LOV’N Hope.

On the way to Big Mo, I answered the phone this evening and TWO of the chairs we had loaned out are being returned tomorrow.

The Lord shall provide. What about that? Returning TWO chairs when we loan out our last one on hand. WHEW!!

I have cold chills just sharing this!

It’s time to pay The Chair of LOV’N Hope Inc annual liability insurance. The amount is $893.99. If you would like to help us further this mission, we would be thankful.

We currently have 3 chairs in use, and have donated 3 chairs to hospice patients. We have 3 chairs at home ready for the next need. YOU make this ministry possible through the guidance of the Lord. Many have been, and shall be blessed by this ministry.

Checks need to be made payable to The Chair of LOV’N Hope Inc or you can send a payment to the business PayPal Account, so it can be transferred to CBBC of Blount County. If you want to go to the bank, just give them the Chair of LOV’N Hope name. I’m sure they can look it up.

I found another chair on MarketPlace for only $75!! THANK YOU LORD! On our way home with it now.

We have a new friend in need next week with a double mastectomy. Please say a prayer for her. 🙏🏻

Do you know anyone in need of a LOV’N Lift?

As of now, we are down to one available chair for someone to use while recovering from their Mastectomy or Prostatectomy surgery.

These lift recliners are helpful for the first stages of recovery and we are happy to loan them! We have had special requests to borrow them in the past for other invasive surgeries, and we are happy to help with those too.

All we ask, please do not allow smoke around them. This is for the health and safety of all future friends. ♥️

We should be gathering some of them later this month and will be cleaning them for the next friend.

Don’t forget to spread the word. We can’t be of service if we aren’t asked. 🥰

The second one is in their possession and will take extra effort to put it in place.

We always give a LOV’N Hope blanket with each chair. I received this text from one of our new friends. THIS IS THE LORD AT WORK!

We have a busy evening ahead of us. We will be delivering 2 LOV’N lift recliners to a couple of Hospice patients this evening.

It seems our Ministry has evolved a bit. Our Primary objective is to ‘Loan’ these lift recliners to recovering Prostatectomy and Mastectomy patients for 2-3 weeks during recovery after surgery. We had a need arise several months ago for a Hospice patient in great need of a chair. We were happy to help, and delivered a chair without the expectation of having it returned. YOUR GENEROSITY IS WHAT ALLOWS THIS TO HAPPEN!

Today, we will be delivering 2 more chairs to Hospice patients. We do not expect to have these chairs returned. Hospice patients are a special situation. Due to health and sanitary reasons, it’s likely the chairs will not be returned. THAT’S OKAY! I feel like we wouldn’t be asked if the need was not genuine. Not everyone can afford the expense of these recliners. If they could, they wouldn’t need to ask for assistance. YOU are what allows their time here to have comfort. This is a HUGE blessing to them and their loved ones. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

This is where we need your help. All of the chairs we have collected, have been donated from a loved one that has passed, except for two. Two of the chairs I found on Marketplace. We had a generous monetary donation that provided the funds for BOTH chairs. The seller accepted a TAX DEDUCTIBLE RECEIPT for the balance they had listed for sale. ♥️

Do you have access to a used Electric Lift Recliner? Would you be able to make a monetary donation to purchase more chairs? Facebook Marketplace ALWAYS has them for sale. (Important for them to come from a smoke-free home. Pets can be an allergy problem but easier to deal with than smoke.) The price range is $300-$600 per used chair. We were blessed with the cost of the duo I found. 🥰

This ministry cannot survive without your help. Rodney and I are only the vessel, and you are the driving force providing the comfort.

Friends, if you are able to donate an Electric Lift Recliner, we do ask a few things.

1. Please ensure the chair is from a SMOKE FREE HOME. If the chair is just too good to pass up, we can always let it sit and air for a while before put in use.

2. Please verify there have been no pets in the home or around the chair. This is for allergy reasons. For the comfort of our future friends in need, we can not make an exception for pets.
