Today we said "good bye" to one of our own. Even though he retired a few years ago, he was still one of us. Leonard, you will be missed by all who knew you.

We will now be at

Lenoir City Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram 1206 E Broadway St, Lenoir City for Operation Honor Guard. Tuesday 12/3/24.....Not at McGill Click Funeral Home.

Remember, you can drop by with a donation, call the WATE donation line or visit WATE website.

And, if you stop by and are a Veteran, consider volunteering your time as a member, too many Honor Guards are losing members and not getting new members to replace them. The average age of our members is 75. It takes both Volunteers and money to keep every Honor Guard going so we can perform Military Honors.

Honoring one of our own, Bob spent 20 years in the Air Force and almost 30 years on the Honor Guard, he made a lot of friends. He performed Honors until he just couldn't do it anymore physically. Always had a smile on his face and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Bob, you will be missed by all who knew you.

These are the 5 members who received a Quilt of Valor this year at our annual luncheon. We take one day per year to get together as a "family". We have a nice lunch, have fun, present 5 Quilts of Valor, reflect on the past year, remember those we've lost, get to spend time with retired members and welcome the new members and their spouses.

We normally don't have this many available at one time. Our goal is 16 - 18.
