The Sparta-White County Rescue Squad for almost 11 hours and temperatures as low as -14 degree, assisted Fall Creek Falls State Park Rangers with a search overnight. Members of the Putnam County Rescue Squad just returned from a nearly 11 hour response, assisting TN Park Rangers with a search overnight at Fall Creek Falls. Our volunteer members worked tirelessly through the night, with multiple other agencies, in -14° at times. It showed that we all live in the Volunteer State. Job well done.
